Title:Experimental aspects of the tachyon hypothesis
View PDFAbstract:This note is aimed at an introductory presentation of experimental characteristics of charged tachyons, deduced under the assumption that the tachyons possess standard electromagnetic interactions. In particular, Cherenkov radiation by tachyons, their ionization loss in tracking devices and the bremsstrahlung loss in electromagnetic calorimeters are considered.
